Alexander the Great’s half-sister, queen and wife of the founder of the city, Kassandros, who named the city after her.
After she accidentally spilled the “immortal water” that Alexander had acquired during his campaign, she asked the Gods never to let him die hoping that he would reign forever.
The Gods then, transformed her into a mermaid and, since then, roams around the sea asking the sailors…
